This is my take on the ‘High Fantasy’ genre. I have come to the end of this ‘episode’ and have started on the second book of which I have titled ‘Reunions’. It’s not a short story, approx 67k word (over 200 pages). Come take a look and let me know what you think. This is still a WIP so no, it hasn’t been edited. It is a rough draft as I’m still going trough it to change and alter and modify. Even the cover is not finalized.
I would love thoughts and comments!

Surrounded by the news lately? Have you seen many strange news clips on the same day? I couldn’t help but put those daily clips together into five short stories. Enjoy!
The Snake in the Cereal
Lindsey just wanted a divorce from her abusive ex, but Jason wasn’t about to give her what she wanted. Pushed over the edge she decides to take matters into her own hands. How far will Lindsey go before she gets what she wants?
The Fire in the Mountains
Martha and Carl don’t have the best relationship, but Carl does love his wife. It’s too bad Martha loves her food more than anything else in life. She loves to cook and eat so much that she ignores all of the warning signs telling her she is in danger, including Carl.
The Man with the Bugs
Jerry’s been waiting for his trail for what seems like forever now. He knows he shouldn’t be incarcerated, but the damn phone company handed his records over to the police leaving him sitting in his 6 by 8 foot cell….
Cannabis Cannibalism -vs- The West Nile Virus
It’s crunch time. The Democrats verses the Republicans. Both parties are almost ready to give their speeches to the American voters and both parties want to make it into the White House, but Mother Nature has another plan in store for them…
Bats, Cats, and Wildlife
All Zetha has is her cats, at least that’s what she would like to believe. When her kittens disappear, the events that follow turn her whole existence upside down forcing her to realize what is most important in her life.
Did no writing today, to busy having fun working on a project for a cousin. I made a leather shear holder. Never heard of it until she saw my post of a purse I’m working on.
Actually had fun sewing and stuff with this one, but the Shear holder I completed in one day! I’m even impressed with myself with that one. with all the layers it had I thought I was going to get frustrated with it. But nope!
She reads voraciously and owns far too many books for such a small abode. Her favorite genres include fantasy, science (of both the non-fiction and fiction varieties), and most anything else she finds in her hands.
Her book -SMOKE AND RAIN (REFORGED I) is an epic fantasy series that will be released in September 2015 by Amphibian Press! But to get a taste of her unique style she has a serial on Wattpad!
Archaeologist Nel Bently has her own crew, her own research, and a private patron to fund her passion for dirt. With her trowel barely into the dry earth of Chile’s coast, however, Nel learns she and her crew are being watched.
Los Pobladores, known to Nel only as vandals and looters, take issue with any archaeologist brave or stubborn enough to set boots on their land. Trouble is, Nel is both, and she is far from willing to give up the site that will make her career. She must keep her crew, her friends, and her life’s work safe, but with a benefactor playing chess with their lives, and angry militants who may actually have a point, Nel is ready to fight dirty.
The hardest thing about enjoying your hobbies or whatever is splitting up the time between them. I LOOOOOOVE writing, but I love to cook and I enjoy my leather crafting (haven’t really come to terms with what it’s called.) Ideas swirl in my head for more stories. I am currently working on four series! each having two to three proposed books to them! Each with a drastically different genre from the next! I’ve got the urban fantasy that was supposed to stop at the first story, I’ve got a high fantasy that was at first just a simple thought. then there’s the sci-fi and then the multi genre one with it’s time travel issues and urban fantasy flair with But I’m not shying away from it. It’s just that I’ve only got two hands. As soon as Mostly Human is completed then I’ll be working mostly on Wonderlost. that will be the fourth book to get published this year. It’s so close to being completed. I’ve already got notes on it’s sequel! I’m going to complete all these stories and at the same time continue to create creatively on my leather working..helps with the literal brick wall. Sometimes i feel like I’m neglecting something or wasting time, but it can’t be helped. If I stop I know that that will be the detrimental to my sanity.

I asked my husband what he wanted for dinner tonight. Simple question. Told him we had chicken, breast or whole – I could do roasted or pan seared chicken. Told him we had ground beef – spaghetti or I could do salsbury steak. Told him we had pork chops, I could make him …’pork chops’. We even have smoked sausage with which I could do some red/black beans and rice with. You know what he said?
Frikkin’ Fish sticks.
