Ivellians is a fast-paced, science fiction romance story. The Ivellians possess human characteristics and have come to earth in a last effort to preserve their species. Unfortunately for the human race, the Ivellians are carnivorous and their soldiers feast on human flesh. Their ruthless leader, A’Vu, has commanded his soldiers to eliminate the human males and capture females and children. The Ivellian males believe their females are no longer capable of reproducing, so they intend to mate with the genetically comparable human females.
Gower Gee is an accomplished Drug Enforcement Agent who is struggling with his professional and personal lives. When the invasion begins, his commercial airplane inexplicably crashes near a small, secluded island in the Caribbean. He is one of only a handful of survivors who encounter a marooned Ivellian female, M’ala, who provides them with the key to eliminating the Ivellians. He is assisted by a unique cast of characters, which include a gay couple, responsible and pragmatic Michael and the flamboyant and endearing Jules. They are also accompanied by a beautiful school teacher, Sasha, and they collectively believe they will have a better chance of survival if they sail back to the United States. Before they reach land, they meet up with feisty Tabitha and another Ivellian female, P’upi, who assists them.

THE KILLER ANGEL : Book Three “Journey” (Volume 3)
She had a way of sizing up a man that was interesting and distinctive; oftentimes even amusing. Her eyes would scan up then down, calmly, taking in every detail, her hands usually resting easily on two of the pistols holstered in her vest (when impatient, her fingers would gently tap the guns). I think this mentally disarmed her potential adversary, as they would think her unprepared – so very few had any concept of her lightning speed. You may be surprised to learn that Nicki Redstone was not cocky or arrogant, as some have suggested – not in the least. She was, in many respects, quite a humble, even self-effacing person. And humorous? One would not think that someone in such a grim line of work could be comedic, but her wit and timing often kept me cheerfully calm in situations that could easily have been completely demoralizing It is true that Nicki suffered at night, in sleep. I would sometimes wake in apprehension at the sounds of a struggle, only to see her hands pushing at something in the air, sometimes her legs would kick out. Even in darkness, I could see her face burning with anger, and sometimes I saw fear – the only time I witnessed the expression on her beautiful face. Ben and I both worried for her. On occasion he would nudge her into relaxation, and often I would speak quiet phrases of French to ease her to softer dreams. Out of necessity, she was sensitive to sound – we all were. Nicki Redstone was born for this world, this I believe. She was, is, and always shall be my friend – my daughter, my blood-sister, and even my mother. I stand by her always.

This book continues the conversations from Book 1. Find out how these characters have fared since you last read about them.
Writing about the homeless and helping the homeless, has given my life a purpose that it didn’t have before. Documenting their stories will, I hope, introduce them to the public in a non-threatening way.
Some panhandlers look intimidating, but that disappears when one sees them laugh. A typical day for me involves taking the bus and walking two blocks to work. I pass Joy’s spot every day. I usually sit and talk with her for twenty to thirty minutes. Chester and Hippo may drop by to chat.
Most afternoons, depending on weather, I walk two blocks to the park where the group of panhandlers varies in size from two to twenty or more. They don’t panhandle at the park. Like a soap opera, every day is different; some scenarios will carry over a few days or weeks. People will disappear for weeks or months due illness, rehab programs or incarceration.
When I met Joy I was going through an emotional crisis. Meeting her and her friends – worrying about them and whether or not they would be able to eat and find a place to sleep – took my mind off my problems, that then, seemed insignificant. It was – is – truly a life changing experience.
